The Municipality of Jequié, through the Department of Social Development, held this Wednesday, the 21st, the training of another group of Cut and Sewing Fashion Fitness, from the Jequié Development Program. The work is a collaboration with the National Service for Industrial Learning (SENAI) and the Association of Housewives of Bahia, ADCB, made with funds from Caixa Econômica Federal. There was the Secretary of Social Development, Patrícia Miranda Brandão Santana; the director of Public Policies, Marinelma Macedo; the editor of the Board of Directors, Geisa Calhau; Process and business assistant at SENAI/Jequié, Priscila Santos Souza and Process and business analyst at SENAI/Jequié, Pedro José Santos Junior; the teacher of the Cut and Sewing Fashion Fitness class, José Adorno; the technical team of the Department of Social Development and the graduates of the course.
With 14 instructors, the Sewing and Fashion Fitness course lasted 80 hours and included workshops at the Course Center and the workshop area at ADCB headquarters, with all the support of sewing machines. . Most of the women involved look for opportunities to earn money, work independently and, therefore, seek to develop new skills and then start providing services and start working and sale.
